I liked the way he used the color of the dogs to show contrast in the picture by giving it a dark background. I do like the pictures of the American Rot Riler, it looks just like my dog.

Cody Stipcic- Tim Flach's photos are amazing. They are all very original and seem very powerful and gripping. I really like how colorful and vibrant each of the shots are. The photos of the huskies are my favorites because the dogs look so raw and awe inspiring.

I love Flach's photography, but he and I share a common interest of taking pictures of animals and nature. Flach takes pictures of the animals in unique ways; including only certain parts of the animal, personifying the animals, and close up shots. Flach has a unique style which forces the viewer to look at the subject in a different way.

Cody Stipcic- William Wegman's shots are very strange. They did not really catch me like Tim Flach's photographs did. I did not really like how he took shots of the same dog. However, some of his paintings really caught my attentinon.

Tim Flach's photography is very interesting, he makes great use of action photos of animals many of which have beautiful backgrounds. He takes many pictures from different angles giving you a new perspective of the animal he is shooting and can even make a bats look adorable.

I liked how Tim Flach captured the movements of many of the animals that he took pictures of. He captured the flight of the bat, and the flight of the birds, the running movement of the dogs, and more.

Cody Stipcic- All of Nick Hall's shots seemed to be of different subject matter. I really enjoyed the fish ones and underwater photographs. He also took some really neat shots from different places in the world. He also took pictures of people that caught my attention.

Brooks Jensen's work, especially in the "Made of Steel" and "Japan" section, are very appealing to me. I think his use of lines is very interesting. He has the ability to make a simple object look unique and peculiar!

I like the contrast in his photos as well. I also like how he used the dogs as the subject. However i do not like the photo of the man dressed as a woman. I also liked his creativity by splitting up the dog with the structure.

Hall's photography is very interesting, Hall has large photos with everything in focus and clear. Hall's photos make it seem like you are there with his large depth of field. In Hall's recent photos he takes a majority of his photos on an overcast day but has the colors stay true to the subject.

Cody Stipcic- John Shaw takes some beautiful landscape photographs. However, I seem to have seen shots like this over and over in my life. I believe it is because these types of shots turn out to be very popular and people will never get sick of interesting animal shots and stretched out landscapes.

Cody Cseplo- Nick Hall has taken amzing pictures. His pictures capture the essence of the subject by capturing intense activity and amplifyinh its intensity. He also is able to take a normal shot and turn it into an intense work of art. I could nver replicate his fishing pictures for example. He just makes them so intense.

Jack Stanovsek; Tim Flach's photography was very interesting through his ability to key in on a certain part of an animal to make it look like an obscure object. The manipulation of view frame is awesome; many of the images of horses tricked me as different strange objects at first. In his Menagerie album, flipping the frame to make it look the bats were standing up instead of hanging upside-down, like they actually were, was excellently done to give the appearance of the bats stretching as tall as they could. The work towards the end of his album, with pictures of humans, reminds us that we are all animals by nature like the rest of the work he takes.

I really liked Maggie Green's photography because I love to look at food photography. All of the pictures are so bright and the colors that are paired with the food work very well together. Almost all of her subjects are centered, but it works well because the goal is to show off the product to the customer. The vibrancy of the pictures are really great to look at because it makes the food appear fresher and more attractive.

I liked the blakc and white photographs that Shaun O'Boyle took. I think that the use of black and white captured the idea that the hospital that he took pictures of was deserted and what struggles may have gone on there. I also liked the nature photographs that he took, theu captured the beauty of the scenery around him.

I like the photos she took in black and white. Even though she took pictures of very simple objects the way they are photographed makes them interesting. I think the quality of the photos show how serious she takes her work.

A majority of Joyner's work is in black and white. I love the great amount of detail and value of contrast that each picture has. Joyner's pictures are so unique that even though they are in black and white it almost seems like they are still in color with the great values each piece has.

Tim Flach's photgraphy is incredible. I really enjoy the images of the bats. He uses simplicity very well in these pictures with the solid gray or blue backgrounds. The bats really seem to jump out at you and it is awesome. His first few dog photos are really cool as well, the dog actually looks like a rug laying on the floor in one of them. The eagle, and the elephants also captured my attention really quickly.

I liked the pictures of food that Maggie Green took. They made me hungry and captured the taste of the food. You look at the pictures fo the food and can immediately imagine what it would taste like.

Nick Hall's photography is really amazing because he is able to capture movement either by blurring it or freezing it, but either way it looks really cool. Also, he works really well with light and capturing the objects under the light to make you feel a certain emotion. There are many photographs where the sky/ background is dark and the subject is light, which draws your eyes to look at the person. Also, with his travel photographs, he paired two pictures next to each other that are different views of the same color or subject matter, which makes a greater impact when viewing the pictures.

John Shaws photography is very unique. He has many colors and uses elements of photography very well; the main ones i saw were lines, rule of thirds and balnace. His photos of Japan are very serene and calming in a way that you could never see here in ohio and can only believe it because you see his photos.

The green photos she has are amazing. The coloring on the photos are perfect. I also like her photo of the dog. I also like how she got the food angled to its best sides and makes the food look good even though the stuff looks nasty in reality.

I loved the landscape scenes that john Shaw took. They captured the beauty of the scenery, the different colors made the pictures interesting. I also like how some of his pictures were close ups and others were from a distance.

Stephanie Albert:

John Shaw's photography is mostly simplistic. There is one subject matter with an interesting or simple background. The subject matter is usually taken with a strange camera angle or with the animal/subject doing something that is unusual. Which makes the pictures interesting to look at.

Jack Stanovsek; Joe McNally's photography was full of some very interesting and strange people. I noticed many of the photographs he took, such as those of firemen and divers, were people in their natural environment, doing what they have been doing for such a long time. Some exceptions, however, such as the girl in a knight's costume in a subway, were definitely out of place of their environment, and I seemed to like those the best. Many of the photos were also of construction projects of massive structures, and I did not like those because; I like nature shot much more.

Shaw uses bright and bold colors in each of his photos. Shaw has a great way of using vibrance and contrast in his photos without making the colors look fake and over done. Most of Shaw's pictures are simple subjects yet still eye catching with his use of colors and lighting. In most of Shaw's works everything in the shot is in focus and very clear.

Nick Hall seems so modern and real. His photos make you feel like you are there and experiencing what is going on. "The Island" photos are spectacular. They are so vivid and colorful. Hall's ability to photograph these places allows me to dream of living in a place like this!

Tim Flach- The clarity of the subject AND the background stood out to me. The pictures were taken of the animals in their natural habitat and at a very percise time in order to capture the image.

Nick Hall's photograghy mainly includes pictures of people doing things they enjoy or people in interesting places. i specifically noticed the picture of the man with the fish around his neck, this stood out to me and made me want to know what it is like living in a place like that. His photos make me want to travel to exotic places and enjoy them.

Joe Mcnally- I enjoyed the corporate collection the most because of the interesting patterns made by the modern and contemporary machinery displayed such as the rockets.

Cody Cseplo- John Shaw's photographs are much simpler when compared to the others. He seems to rely less on intense lighting and depth and focuses on using what he has to capture his subject. His pictures are simple yet beautiful.

I like Joe McNally's dance and current photography. The dance photography was really well lit and the subjects were sometimes taken in really interesting places. The light is really soft which gives a great mood to each picture. The colors of everything work really well together.

Maggie Green-welll...she likes food. All of her food pictures are very bright and have good color in them. She also puts alot of balance into her photo's to make it have more then one focus. Her dog pictures are balanced and have much detail.

Nick Hall-I really liked the way he relates two pictures whether its a human and their setting, or a subject item and its purpose. The color is also well balanced between the two pics. They are all under the travel category.

John Shaw- In the China Portfolio, John captures a lot of the culture from the country such as the architecture, animals, food, or people.

Jack Stanovsek; Nick Hall's first portfolio, commercial, captured many images of hunters. The stress of the portfolio seemed to be on using life to sustain life. The photo that struck me the most was the fish being caught by a spear being held by a little boy in the background. It was excellent use of depth of view; the fish was so much bigger than the boy in photo. In his next portfolio, commercial, Hall matches up a life with the environment that they live in. for example, my favorite photo of the album was a baby chick being held in a man's hands and then bird cages next to the photo. It was very cool to see the varying effects of environment versus the life that manipulates it. The cages had a very rustic and antique look to them and it was my favorite picture he took.

Joe McNally's photography is beautiful. The portraits he takes are unbelievable. It is hard to believe that he could capture some of these moments on camera, especially the dance photos. The current collection is also very interesting. Some of the portraits are of familiar people, which makes it fun to look at them! The perfect detail in these photos seems to make them extremely special.

Tim Flach- I like the simplicity of his dog photos. The contrast is good and the colors are neutral.

John Shaw- I like how he is a nature/animal photographer, but I think he should take some pictures of people and cities. Not just nature.

Jack Stanovsek; Maggie Green's photography made me very hungry. Her photos of food were very clear and precise, finding the perfect angle to make the food look the most delicious. The color of the food itself ere very vibrant and saturated, such as my favorite picture of her cupcakes. Her next portfolio of products showcased her wide array of photos used by professional companies. They were very interesting, yet I felt it took away artistic value from the photos by themselves, although it is a way to get paid.
